I have two laptops:

Lenovo 720s-15IKB with Intel 7300HQ + HD 630 & NVIDIA 1050 Ti Max-Q

Lenovo 720s-14IKB with Intel 8250U + HD 620 & NVIDIA MX 150

While BOINC easily detects the integrated HD 630 on my first laptop, it cannot do so with HD 620 on my other laptop. I even tried to install the latest drivers (unverified by Lenovo) from Intel's website but it did not help. Any ideas? GPU-Z can detect both chips.

You are running Windows 10

You are running Windows 10 and BOINC v7.14.2

If by 'the latest drivers' you mean the new-format Windows DCH driver family that Microsoft is encouraging GPU developers to use, there is a problem (buffer overflow) in the current BOINC code which causes GPU detection to fail.

This is fixed in the next BOINC version (7.16.x), which should enter testing soon.

Yes, I'm running v7.14.2 @

Yes, I'm running v7.14.2 @ Win 10. And yes, by latest drivers I meant the DCH driver v26.20.100.7000.

So I will wait until the next BOINC version gets released. Many thanks for your prompt and useful reply.

Replaced my current binaries

Replaced my current binaries with the pre-release ones and behold, everything works fine now.
