If you have not already done

If you have not already done so, you now need to specifically opt-in to give permission for your data to be exported so that BOINCStats and others can display it.  Yes, this is new.

Log in to Einstein, then:

Account|Preferences|Privacy|Privacy Settings|Do you consent to exporting your data to BOINC statistics aggregation Web sites?:

Glancing around here before posting a question would improve the signal/noise ratio.

Thanks. Sorry for posting ,

Thanks.

Sorry for posting , i dont think of modification on privacy without a direct notification (by email). I look quickly at forum but my english is not enough to rapidly read.

Usually, i dont look regulary at boinc, it work and i dont do anything, except somtime looking at aggregate stats if perfomances shutdown. For other, i expect a notification from project (stopping, modification...) to know that i must do something.

It is difficult to send an email to every account that exists at Einstein.  Probably many accounts are no longer active and many may not have valid email addresses.

There are two ways that are used to get important information to volunteers.  When you login, you should examine the 'News' tab on your home page.  Even if you don't login but are actively crunching, you should examine the 'Notices' tab in BOINC Manager.  Both the News tab and the BOINC Manager Notices have been warning about this for many weeks.

Cheers,
Gary.

Yes Einstein sent out notice,

Yes Einstein sent out notice, regardless Boincstats is very broken with regards to this project. We can thank the nanny govt. of the EU and probably at least partially explains Brexit.

I think Patrick Stewart did a good job on what the EU did for us or the britans:

I think this video explains very well how the brexit could happen...

Please take no offence - BUT

Please take no offence - BUT a lot of people have no idea what this regulation means or what it is about.

So, please, refrain from such "ignorant" comments - i.e. nanny etc.

Nannies are sometimes very important and valuable - which you can read about in several different abstracts about this subject.

Maybe some day all the "gripers" will understand the deep implications of this subject - esp. the in USA - where I, believe it or not, actually do come from.

The reference to BREXIT is, in this case, way off, as it is a very complex and emotional "happening" and has way other origin reasons.

Should I have misunderstood the many "nice" comments that one can find/read across the VARIOUS projects about this EU regulation, then please just ignore this reply post!

I just couldn't resist ... every now and then my fingers begin to twitch and itch ...

I admit, checking that little box is a very tedious dangerous and strenuous undertaking.

Have you all a nice crunching time - and please worry about "more important" things or problems pertaining to achieving successful crunching for science ... indepent of, sometimes little, bumps in the road to achievement!
