The past couple of days, I have not been able to upload my completed Einstein tasks on any of my computers. A sample log is shown below.

Einstein@Home    11/8/2018 11:01:07 AM    update requested by user
Einstein@Home    11/8/2018 11:01:10 AM    Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
  Einstein@Home    11/8/2018 11:01:10 AM    Reporting 1 completed tasks
Einstein@Home    11/8/2018 11:01:10 AM    Not requesting tasks: don't need (CPU: job cache full; NVIDIA GPU: job cache full)
  Einstein@Home    11/8/2018 11:01:21 AM    Scheduler request failed: Error 408

Einstein's website says my tasks are still in progress. I've rebooted my cable modem and router, changed my TCP IP4 DNS settings. and repaired BOINC, all without success. SETI is also giving me problems, but my other 5 projects upload and download without issues.

Any ideas as to what to try next?

Thanks.

Further searching led me to

Further searching led me to reduce the MTU on my Netgear router. After I reduced it from the default of 1500 to a new setting of1400, things started to upload and download. I don't know if the settings are optimal, but at least all projects are working.

More tweaking may be needed.

I'm sorry your having this problem, but you really shouldn't solve it by setting the MTU of your home router to 1400. MTU is something you should not change unless you really know what you are doing. Pretty much all Internet networking uses an MTU of 1500, and changing this can have very unexpected consequences.
