Topic 216727

I decided to change the quota of my projects. They were all at 100, stock. I wanted to up them all to 200, so when I added a new project it would start at 100 and thus, lower than the regulars in case it was problematic as I'd seen. I adjusted it and all the other projects reflect their new quota apart from Einstein, it shows 200 on the website, but updating does not change the value on either of my machines.

Do you have more than one

Do you have more than one location (venue) set up?
Did you change the resource share for the same location as your computers are set to use?

I did a test and changed my resource share, scrolled down to the bottom of the page and clicked "Save", got a confirmation at the top of the page, waited a few seconds then issued an update command in Boinc and when the scheduler contact was done the new resource share showed in Boinc.

I'll try to find out. Most projects it is simple, but here, they have changed the website around making it difficult to find anything.

And when you click on

And when you click on "Account" scroll down beneath the graph click on one of your computers and on the following page scroll down to the bottom, there should be a box for setting the location of the host. Match that location to the location for the settings you want to use.

You can also scroll down on the preferences page and click on "Show comparison view" to list the 4 available locations side by side.

Richard, changing the setting

Richard, changing the setting was not the issue, I'd acheived that, what I was trying to do was get my computers to accept the new value, which they now have, thanks Holmis.
