Buy a computer, say once per year, does not even have to be that expensive of a machine. Plug it in and never turn it off. Rinse, repeate. Do that for a decade and you have 10 boxes.
Others do "headless" machines which are just barebones of what is needed to be a computer and no more. buy 10 MB, power supplies, one disk stack them up and away you go.
Or of course one does a Johnnyboinciseed routine (g)
