But does he does want peace, and if winning would give him peace.
Anyways, since David as not posted for some days it might be that the winning post has already been made but we simply don't know about that yet.
It has not, but it's getting close. For that reason, I want to remind you that fairly early on I mentioned that the titular bugs are not really bugs at all. Neither are they spiders or lobsters or anything else creepy* or crawly**. I mention this again now just so no one will say I was misleading with the clue.
*Well, some people might consider at least one of them creepy.
**Except maybe back in the day when they were too stoned to stand up.

It is kind of obvious that we are getting closer, since no one has win yet and it must be a positive number. It would be a challenge to get further away from it since I can't delete posts. So that would require some hacking.

Now Unix end of time + 1 second might make for an interesting trigger ...
The first we'll likely get to see, the last most definitely not. And that is a rather easy migration from the 32 bit to the 64 bit version. I'm not the least bit worried about that.
Useless Factoid : I Googled "titular bug" and discovered it is a casual term for 'water striders' ie. the ones that walk on water using tiny hairs on their toesie wozies and surface tension. I'll sneak away now .....
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

I hadn't really thought about it, but yes, it is. I suppose how many didn't would probably be too.
The rest isn't though :) particularly the feet bit I think you'll find I poignantly found weren't.
You'll all also find I know what is needed to be known in order to not win the thread but be right despite that :) Yes! What I don't know is whether how David knows how I know, is how others might get to know what I know too. It's actually why I've surfaced a bit, except it's Tuesday so I can't, which is the bit I forgot I knew.
Any way - itislovely to find you all here :) I can't remember whether I congratulated David on his win though. I suppose I should go back and check before cluttering up the thread with one here as well.
edit: I forgot to smile. It's up there where it wasn't before.
Oh.
Actually I already did somewhere else. You may as well ignore this bit in that case.
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

And the winning post of the previous thread was number 100, just posted by Chris. Would winning give you peace?
No, Chris doesn't want to
