I've not seen any info about boinc being down, there seems to be the same trouble with Seti, there are lots of posts about not being able to get work, so I'm assuming boinc must be down or having trouble, my climate prediction project will keep crunching away for about 3 months before that finishes, but there's nothing comming from boinc, einstein or seti so we're left to speculate, lol.

I just tried an update on my 3 projects, seems CP is doing it now ...

Which version of the BOINC core client are you using?
There's a known bug where the scheduler thinks completed work waiting to upload or report is counted as work that still needs to be crunched. As it stands right now, your system thinks it has too much work to do and doesn't need to get any more from a project like Einstein. Once you manage to upload and report all that SETI work, your system will ask for more Einstein WU's. I believe that this bug is supposed to be fixed in the 4.72+ versions of BOINC.

Suspend all other projects. Then update Einstein. Worked here a minute ago.

That worked, only thing is one of the projects is preempted now, only 2 running, it also downloaded the same work unit twice.
