I've decided to replace my GTX770 because it performs unexpectedly poorly on FGRPB tasks (on paper and in BRP4/5 it was ~60-70% as fast as my GTX980, on fermi it's only 25%).
I don't have any strong brand loyalty to either maker, so I'm willing to go with whatever will do the most work; and figured it'd be easier to ask here than to hunt for perf numbers on midrange cards in the stats.

Dan FYI my EVGA 3GB GTX1060 does 96 FGRP tasks a day and I paid $180 for it about a month ago.

I got an AMD 480 and it will do about 400k per day of RAC if I let it crunch here, right now it's at another project though. I let it do one workunit at a time and just screams thru them, and yes it seems to max out the gpu to nearly 100% while doing the units. I give all of my gpu's a cpu core for their use on all of my pc's.

That's interesting, on linux my rx-480 is above 600K (running x2) and runs as daily driver. Only occasionally with certain video feeds do i notice the load.
