More validate errors today on

More validate errors today on BRP4Gs today and as in the past they run full term and waste a lot of time again. Soon the BRP well will be dry and a new adventure will start with the beta gamma ray tasks.

The overall failure rates for FGRPB1 and FGRPB1G are actually dropping since Easter. The fourth task was send because the third missed the deadline but then was reported 8 minutes after your computer got the result which means it couldn't be canceled anymore.

I am running Binary Radio

I am running Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) v1.34 (opencl-intel_gpu-Beta) windows_x86_64, running Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, with an Intel HD Graphics 620.

Over the past 2 days, I've run 31 tasks and 10 of the 31 tasks had the Status "Completed, Marked as Invalid".   I think a 32% failure rate is excessive.

Which is not a "Validate error" and you shouldn't be posting here.  Please read the opening post in this long running thread to understand the difference.

You should perhaps read this thread if you want to understand why you get so many invalid results.  In it you will find information about driver versions that might work as opposed to those that definitely don't.  Also there is quite a variation depending on which particular GPU model you are using.  From observing what people have written, there seems to be more problems with newer models.

There are other threads/messages also that might have information about the actual Intel GPU model you are using.  You could try a search based on your particular model. I can't give you any suggestions as I don't run Windows and there are no Linux drivers so I have exactly zero experience.

Yes it is, so you should complain to Intel, since it's a problem with their drivers.  Over the years there have been lots of people who have given up trying to get Intel GPUs to crunch reliably.  There's not much (other than complain as well) that the project can do about this, unfortunately.

Cheers,
Gary.

I have over 20 odd units that I crunched and are either invalid or canceled by server. What is going on?

Continuous Gravitational Wave

Continuous Gravitational Wave search Galactic Center Tuning highFreq v1.01 (AVX)
windows_x86_64      All of these units are error-ing out on me. They take 16 hours to run and server wipes them out I guess you do not need me or my help any longer. Good Bye

Did you follow the link AgentB provided?  Unfortunately it was to the thread but the explanation for what you saw is in the most recent posts in that thread.  Specifically, you should look at this post which explains the reason and what the project intends to do to compensate you for the wasted time.  As the message explains, you will get credit for every single task you crunch and return, even the ones that have already been declared invalid.  I don't know how they could be fairer than that.

The project does value the contributions of all volunteers.

Cheers,
Gary.

Hi. Sorry I didn't read

Hi.

Sorry I didn't read through the whole thread, so this question maybe has been posed already.

I get an 'Error - can't validate' message on this host: https://einsteinathome.org/host/12528648/tasks/invalid

Is this the same as a plain 'invalid', or is there more to it?

Thanks a lot.
