(Actually, I didn't find the address of the Lilydale post office in Chicago. I learned about the neighborhood, but for the directions I had to go with a local business. Asking Bing Maps for the post office only found me the one in Queensland.)
Er, Victoria. I was going from memory that was on the verge of falling asleep and didn't want to reverify it.
As for Pilsen at 18xx s. Ashland, it's a long way from there to Lilydale, which starts at about 95th St. or so and goes well into the 100s. Let's say 19th to 99th, that's 80 blocks, which in Chicago is 10 miles.

There are portions of my Lilydale I wouldn't want to break down in either. I've yet to hear it described as a polyp on Melbourne, but I'll ask around.
Well the part showed up. My wife told me over the phone just five minutes after I bought a new vacuum cleaner. You see the Parts Warehouse people who I emailed about the order were kind enough to indicate that :

If you have not received your order by the 60th business day please contact us and a trace request will be placed with UPS on your behalf.
How nice of them to consider that. So YES to Fedex and NO to Parts Warehouse next time. I think the observation that Bensenville is near/at O'Hare is the key one here.
Thank you all for your customer service assistance. My cheque for your services is, and always will be, in the mail.
Oh, and I got Fibre_To_Node yesterday at home ( I'm at work now ), only I didn't actually, and so have no internet at home. But through webmail accessed at work they were kind enough to inform me that :

.... you’ll find a range of helpful setup guides on our website.
I think about ten days ago I went to sleep and woke up in an alternate reality - as you do, quantum & all - where IQ's have plunged ( present company excepted ). Either that or it's mine that went down.
As for the size of Australia : yes, we do have area. As much desert as you like. Most under 'pastoral lease' meaning : we will round them up next spring and see how many we ( still ) have. Or 'mining lease' where you shouldn't stand around in the one place for too long.
Cheers, Mike.

OK here we go, I work in a warehouse, a sortation hub to be precise. Stuff comes from the supplier to us and is then sent on its way. International stuff is CLEARLY MARKED as such and even an idiot could see the difference. The problem being currently it's the "peak" when the amount of stuff being processed is triple what it usually is. As to where I work this involves using agencies for extra employees. These are people whose training is probably a single sentence and since they will only be employed for a few weeks couldn't give a shit about the job they do.
TL:DR version. There's a remote control at my station that's been decorated with tinsel it's been there so long :)

Another thing I got wrong in my stupor was that while I was typing the first part, there was a story on the news about UPS trucks being robbed in Englewood, about 3-4 miles north of Lilydale, and I was so sleepy I forgot to include that. Granted, Englewood is about the most dangerous neighborhood in the city; it's where Spike Lee filmed "Chi-Raq." At one time, it was very nice. It had its own Union Station, where the Pennsylvania Railroad crossed the Rock Island, and the New York Central, which had paralleled the Rock south out of LaSalle St. Station downtown, turned east and paralleled the Pennsy to Gary, Indiana (another place you don't want to break down).
But anyway... the week has ended and good riddance to it.

Some people in the same carriage as me the other evening thought I'd taken up pole dancing... briefly, then thought better of it. I hadn't. I'd fallen asleep standing up holding onto it and was just as alarmed as they were throughout.
I'm sorry I missed those mint cookies... *forlorn sigh* I'd do cow eyes round the thread to see if anyone is hoarding any but this week's remodelled head feature is a stye...
:)
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
But of course the whole UK
Generally speaking some US states are bigger than the whole of the UK, yes that is a correct statement
Alaska 1,717,854 Km2 (7.06 x UK)
Texas 696,662 Km2 (2.86 x UK)
UK 243,610 Km2
I would say firstly that there is a Boinc echo around here ..... ?
I would also say secondly, some old dogs have a rather nasty bite in their old age :-)))
Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)
Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now
