Maybe it's a really stupid question but however I was not able to come up with a satisfying answer myself, so I'm hoping for help here.
Some days ago I had to partly reset my system (windows 10). You know, whenever this happens, Internet explorer or Edge is the standard application for websites. So I installed palemoon and made is the standard browser. And now, here comes my problem:
When I try to access a project like S@H or R@H, palemoon application launches, but when I try the same with E@H, Edge opens. I'm at my wits' end, I tried everything but without success and it's really getting on my nerves as I cannot remove edge from the system.
Your help would be appreciated, really.
Grettings,
Michael

You have HTTP tied to Palemoon and HTTPS tied to Edge. Take a look at Default programs by protocol or whatever it is in English.

Thanks for the answer. I gave it a look and found out the following:
You are right, there are different applications for the two protocols. However, when I try to change the HTTPS protocol from Edge to Palemoon, it stays with Edge and there's nothing I can do. I have admin privileges, so this is probably not the reason.
I'm using the x64 version of Palemoon. Might this be a reason for this strange behaviour? However, I doubt it as system control shows PM as an alternative.

I'm running Win 10 with 32-bit version of Pale Moon and have no problems changing the protocol association between Pale Moon and Chrome. I made the change via the Control Panel -> Default programs -> Associate a file type or protocol with a program and not the new "Settings app".
