Hello together,
I searched around quite some time already and I would like to ask if there is any option to run Einstein without installing BOINC manager ?
I would like to run it from a command line directly.
Of course I know that the BOINC manager is responsible for downloading and uploading the WUs, but isn't there another way to help ?

Technically, you can run any project from the command line, by only starting up Boinc.exe
If you are already attached to a project, you can just start up boinc.exe these days and it will rip. If you want to do something on the side, you start up boincmgr.exe to start up the visual representation tool of the manager.
If you're looking for speed, thinking that the command line option will be faster then the graphical version, know that it's all the same program running.
If you don't want the Boinc icon in the system tray, why not install Boinc as a network install then?

Hello again,
thx, Ageless, I just also found this option and I'm running now on three additional computers :
Whetstones Drystones
Hermes : 1939 3231
Hera : 2644 3218
Zeus : 653 1146
together : 5236 7595
I guess that will help a little for the project.
I need to shutdown the stuff fast as soon as my boss is popping in ;)

Whoa!!
I sincerely hope that you got your boss's permission to load and run the BOINC programs - point being, others have fallen by the wayside due to companies taking a very dim view of using "their toys" to do work outside "their sphere of influence/control".

In fact my boss's only concern is that the machines are breaking down faster due to the higher CPU temperature when running full speed around the clock.
Infact my AMD at home is permanently running around 85 degrees have to purchase a better cooler.
