A child that can genuinely switch themselves off and not ricochet off surfaces oblivious to roars once they have... interests me greatly, Mike... :) as do apathy cures, Bill. Coming across the condition in such high concentrations was one of the most striking features of relocating myself to England!  ;)

But I was talking about sporadic groups, people... in abstract algebra.

There are 26 exceptional ones (and that 27th one I linked to that's not linked now, obviously, because it isn't - and because frankly, when it was it looked best if it wasn't, and weighing the reaction of someone too outraged to click it against the disappointment of someone that had and had got

Jacques T*t*... I decided instead to loosely implement Harvard Referencing ... but thank you for the furry and feathery versions, David and MAGIC :)  they are cute.

Ah yes, popularly known as the Clumsiness Index.

Well I don't think it should be, Chrsis  because I haven't finished  doing it yet. I doubt we'll know what to call it till I do, and it's difficult to tell how popular it'll be at this stage. Take Mike for instance...

None of us knew he was the last of the once plentiful and much-venerated Onion Emirs...

It seems to me that If you inverted the lid, then removed the jar, legitimate pickles could have acquitted themselves upon it and not got indiscriminately rolled in... *teeter head precariously to one side* Do you have any witchfinder generals in your family history, Chris...? Or from Pittenweem perhaps... circa 1700-ish? I'm only asking because 26 villagers underwent similar extensively flawed testing, and only 8 survived by virtue of fleeing.

Thank you for taking time out from your duties to ask, Mike...  it's a rare day I'm not :)

I can't think of a better way to do it, to be honest - all those pretty gems - I'd forgotten how many needed iron ions and compounds and whatnot

*look gratefully at archae86* I knew I was right to be suspicious ... ;)

*shove pile of hello's in corner* these are for whoever wanders in and needs one... you lot *indicate everyone addressed so far* don't...

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Well folks, my morning coffee

Well folks, my morning coffee has just been splattered across the screen, which will now require a judicious application with a wipe that was really meant for spectacles, but there you go, when needs must etc. Not quite WWII make do and mend, more 21C oh bugger that is all I can find at the moment ....

ADHD children are really special as far as I am concerned.

Coming across the condition in such high concentrations was one of the most striking features of relocating myself to England!

Well nobody really cares about apathy ....

But we are rather glad that you did visit, otherwise the country would be rather bereft of such gems as

I mean, is that worth a CDM + Bar or a mention in the BT Gazette or what??

Do you have any witchfinder generals in your family history, Chris...? Or from Pittenweem perhaps... circa 1700-ish?

I dunno, I'll go and have a look at low tide in St Fillans cave, there might be a clue there possibly.

Take Mike for instance...

Oh do we have to? Oh go on then it is nearly xmas, goodwill and all that ....

Oh my gosh, back to the days of the Open University and the BSc. Yes I remember it well ....

Cool

She has the onerous task of socialising with them during breaks from her admin duties ...... someone has to do it ! :-)))

Bonus points for suggestions as to what Kiki & Leila are discussing. { .... yes it was Leila that did the poo poo .... }

Cheers, Mike.

I don't know enough about kangaroos to have clue what those two old biddies are talking about, so I won't guess. I just know that I am winning right now!!

Christmas cookie baking is on

Christmas cookie baking is on the menu for today.  I think I'll bake chocolate chocolate chip.  I suspect that my brother will eat them all before Christmas and I'll have to bake another batch.
