Archae: your experiment with

Archae: your experiment with the VM is interesting. Although the AVX feature is enabled on the host and guest OS it seems. What is also interesting that as of now only 5 hosts out of the ~30k Linux hosts have reported errors and successful results. The others report either only successful or error tasks. So far I have to find one that is accessible to me so I can do some tests on it.

The runtime and memory estimates do indeed vary based on the search frequency. Lower frequency means lower memory and expected runtime.

The O1MD1TG work generator already generated all of the work we assigned to it for the Tuning run.

One of my hosts which started

One of my hosts which started only giving errors

https://einsteinathome.org/host/11905468/tasks/error

Did eventually start generating good results.

(this is the same host which was running  a VM)

I know the next question is what changed, and quite a lot - cleared out some old kernel images, ran a software update started up a VM or two, and at least one restart.

If there is testing that I can do for you, let me know via PM.

Tried again on another Linux

Tried again on another Linux setup...everything always errors out.  A different Winderz-7 E3-1230V2 setup runs fine.

https://einsteinathome.org/host/11966057

LinuxMint 17.1 all updated

E3-1240V2

Supermicro X9SAE-V motherboard

32G DDR3 1333 ECC Mem

Can let you remote into it if you want... it has Teamviewer running on it...

8-)

I deployed a version 1.03 app

I deployed a version 1.03 app for O1MD1TCV that should find it's way to your hosts with the remaining workunits of this run. We generated everything there is for this tuningrun today. So far we've learned a lot and are now finetuning the upcoming science run where we will cover the whole frequency space from 20 to 1500 Hz.

Success!  I now have one 1.03 WU that has completed & validated.
