Hi all. Today didn't start

Hi all.

Today didn't start off very well.  I had an appointment with the dietician and the nurse practitioner.  Car no worky.  Dead battery.

Sorry to hear about the car, Kathryn.  Frown  I hope you got it taken car of quickly.  I used to have an 89 Mustang LX 2.3 L, and it went through a battery and an alternator a year UNTIL I had an aftermarket electrical mechanic over-build the alternator to 120 Amps to correct Ford's under-designed electrical system.  Also, had to upgrade the cabling to the battery to 4 Gauge cables with gold plated connectors.  NEVER had a problem after that!  Surprised  Laughing  (...AND, NO, I did NOT have any amplifiers in the car; NOR anything else that would have put a strain on the system...  Just a POOR design by Ford!)

I'm a Honda man, now...  Honda's DON'T have these issues.  Smile

LOL.  It actually is a ford (Taurus to be specific).  Got the battery the same day and rescheduled my appointment.
