BOINC does have a command line option, but it won't improve WU speed.
Well then I have to say I am very disapointed in the move from Seti Classic ( and Einstein) programming.
In Classic I was completing WU in 2:35 or so. Now I am lucky if I can complete a project in days.
As computer power increases, the developers have added more science to the projects to take advantage of this increase.
We are no longer judged by how many WU's we accomplish, but rather by the amount of computations completed (see [[credits]]).
If one looks at the CPDN (climateprediction.net) WU's they literally take weeks for a top end machine to several months to a low end machine. They have deadlines that are on the order of a year.
LHC on the other hand has WU's of varying length. Even their long WU's can finish in a matter of seconds if the data is found to be unstable for their purpose.
Boinc is a different creature than classic. As such it will take some time to get used to the boinc way of thinking and doing things. some people handle the transition better than others. If one comes to these forums (and those over at S@H) with an open mind and a willingness to learn, one will find that there are many people here willing to help.
Another great source of information is the [[BOINC wiki]]. Several people have the link to it in their signatures.
I hope this helps to clear some things up for you.

It is as if they didn't wnat people to help.
How can you say this?
You havn't connected a single computer to your account @Seti, so you can't have any experience with SetiBoinc.
AFAIK (just hearsay from former Classic crunchers) a WU takes nearly the same amount with Boinc then before, and with your machine here, which is faster than mine, you should crunch one seti-WU in less then 3h (my time).
Command Line Process?

Correct. BOINC Seti only takes a little longer. (Less than an hour on my machine)
Don't judge S@H WUs from what you see at E@H.
