OK, due to duplication at zoo central I have another card :
.... I'd rather go with this newer one, because :
- it looks like me better than the other one looked like me ie.
- I know the guy. That's Benny, short for Benelong, who is the alpha male koala at the local Healesville sanctuary.
- Benny is a nice relaxed chap except when he has a certain focus at a certain time of year ..... :-)
... now Audrey ( Benny's partner in focus ) has been rather stoked about the new enclosure. BTW that's about as fast as you will ever see a koala move ! :-)
{ Although the last shot is actually of Emily and her as yet un-named daughter, being the subject of a naming competition. }
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

That's pretty cool, and yes this picture is MUCH better!!! Although the other one was quite 'horny' for an older guy!!
I just finally looked at my city utility bill. It combines electric, water, sewer, and refuse. It's $156.17. Last month was $113.70.
For comparison, my electric was 832 KWH, vs. 493 last month and 632 this month last year. Water (and therefore sewer) is 300 cubic feet vs. 257 last month and 200 last year. Water rates are also rising yearly, thanks to Chicago charging more to pump it out of Lake Michigan, but the majority of the bill is electric.
I dread the next bill, with this current heat wave in it.

Manuka Honey is just great for stuff like that but only if applied topically* in this instance.
To yourself for best benefit.
I thought that was best applied in certain circumstances by someone else?
Wish this damn heatwave would go away, most uncomfortable, and don't talk to me about UK trains, i will go apopo something or other .... after yesterday!!!
Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)
Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now

If you are hoping for a break you can erase that thought right out of your head right now!! I'm here on the East Coast of the US and it was in the 90'sF every day so far this week, and other than ONLY hitting the upper 80's today it's getting HOTTER come the weekend for me!! They are talking the low 100's on Saturday and Sunday for me!! Then after that back to ONLY the low 90's with a few upper 80's thrown in for a 'break'!!
You could be starting to feel a bit 'roasted', like Joan felt as they started the fires around her feet, by the time this is over. Good thing is you won't be getting any actually 'burning' from this heat unlike the way she felt as her adventure ended.

RE: I'm curious... whose
As we all know, Joan was a military leader, apparently acting under divine guidance, who led the French army to victory over the British during the Hundred Years War. Nicknamed "The Maid of Orléans". Of course I was on "our" side, but you can't just stand by and see damsels toasted can you, not very gentlemanly at all. But as Sir L said, you just can't help some of 'em, lost causes.
Are you looking at me through a sheet of plastic?

Interesting !
(Quite similar to our modern day situation here in the U.S. )
I believe the standard Brit punishment for males at the time was
"Hung ... Drawn ... and Quartered"
Which, sounds like loads of fun also ...
and .... Whatever became of "Annie of Arc ? "
