Yep she's a toddler now, or

Yep she's a toddler now, or should I say confident strider. Just got up and walked one day. It is chilly at present hence the fluffy sheepskin boots.

Some Seriously Scientific Snotty Statistics

Please don't laugh : it has been shown that getting cold hands/feet does make it more likely for you to catch a cold. Grandma is right and so rug up. As discovered by outstanding research at The Common Cold Centre in Wales* ( it's their national illness I fancy ). There's a reflex reduction in nasal airway mucosal lining blood flow when the fingers & toesies get cold. Presumably this helps to preserve core temperature in inclement weather. Anyhow that flow reduction makes viral establishment more likely.

Suppose we are sitting in the same room, with one of us having a respiratory virus on our linings. With just normal breathing, no coughing or sneezing or whatnot, then what is the average time it takes for the other person to get said virus on their linings ?

.... about 17 minutes. That's not long at all is it ? That Cardiff mob worked that out. Mathematically this works like a radioactive half-life. In fact this is about the same timeline as free neutron decay.

Anyway me & Matty are BFF's ! :-)))

Cheers, Mike.

Well indeed. Which of course begs the question of why you would want to, but never mind.

Isn't that Raynaud's disease? Had that a lot of that as a child.

No, you've been trying to in-sinus-uate noses, and elevated ones at that!

P.s. pretty little girl Mike :-)

Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)

Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now

I suppose we could have a

I suppose we could have a nose thread. Then I could bore you by listing all the decaying neutrons that I have up mine.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) Ah. I think that cat is looking at it's own reflection in the tabletop. What a relief. I mean if not then it is seriously screwed up. Or normal, depending on the breed.
