Good morning everyone. :-)

Good morning, TL. Have a great day. I'm off to the gym. Weight training is on the schedule today. I like it a bit more than cardio that drives me nuts. Though on the nut scale, I don't have far to go.

Oh. Good. A mixed reality

Oh. Good. A mixed reality designed by Microsoft. I can't wait.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

RE: http://tinyurl.com/I-am

AND AMD just announced a brand new gpu coming out that takes advantage of this for 'the masses', it's priced at ONLY $199US and will be called the 480. The idea is to get people to stop using the cardboard things that hold your cellphone in front of your eyes so you can play 3d games. Guess someone will have to bring out some cheaper 3D monitors now too so you can actually see stuff in 3D since Windows, games and the gpu hardware is now, as of June 27th, available.

Good morning everyone!!!

Congratulations TL on your new found power in running the games!!

Perhaps if I live to be 175,

Perhaps if I live to be 175, I might just, with a following wind, and a bit of help, begin to understand why adult men want to play overgrown kids games on a computer on the Internet. Yes I did try Microsoft Train Simulator once but that was all it was, just a simulator. There are various places where you can (at a cost) drive a real steam train. Those Lara Croft Tomb Raider series were boring if you couldn't work out the hidden exit from screen to screen. Yes I did try them.

Then we have this modern role playing stuff like Kingdom. There are many Re-enactment societies where you can don real armour and fight real battles as it really was, but of course with no real bloodshed. But hey we need shoot'm up type stuff, yeahhhhh, blammmm blammm, that'll teach my boss to bawl me out.

Why do so many, mainly men, seem to need escapism from real life??? There are birds and trees, fresh air, beaches out there, pubs, Clubs, holidays, beer, and most of all women!!! But even in Star Trek the crew had to have a Holo Deck :-( And yippeee, whoopie doo for us, now it's all in 3D as well!

INCLUDE ME OUT!!

Signed

Sad git tapping a keyboard in front of a piece of illuminated glass, talking to people he's never met, and most never likely to, and doesn't even know who they really are anyway because it's all anonymous.

PS Ahhhh, the good old days when the RAC used to turn up and help you out of a crisis. These days a drop in RAC to some is a major crisis in itself.

Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)

*blink* you've clearly never

*blink* you've clearly never been a purple and yellow dragon gathering lums on a jungle slide, or spent an exhilarating few hours trying to keep Donald and Goofy alive with magic spells long enough to help you defeat Maleficent from behind a tree trunk. Or had to protect very cute but dim sackbots from themselves and from lava... I could go on...

*put head to one side*

Kitchen getting to you by any chance, Chris...? :) *

Hello everyone :) Did you know I've just won? Well I have...

* I can replace that smiley if it's causing you any offence :)

Heh heh, no not at all actually Annie :-) All planned out as far as one can do when dealing with tradesmen. You know how it is. Be glad when it is all over though. They do say the the three most stressful things in peoples lives are getting married, getting divorced and moving house. New kitchens are way down on my list !!

I just don't do escapism, sorry, just isn't me, simply don't need to. Give me good company, a good woman, and good beer, and I'm your man! Want hidden depths, Ok, we can do that as well in abundance *

Hey!!!! Seen this?? Do it for real!
