I frequently get client errors of the type
"06.07.2005 14:50:18|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result l1_0760.0__0760.4_0.1_T08_S4lA_2 (Die angegebene Datei wurde nicht gefunden. (0x2) - exit code 2 (0x2))".
"Die angegebene Datei wurde nicht gefunden." means something like "Stated file not found."
The error is allways something like:
Candidates in line 14343 and 14344 in Fstats file Fstats.Hb are not in the correct order. Exiting.

The CPU is overclocked a little and runs all other apps without problems. The disk, where the project is running on is a SCSI-Disk. In case it would help, I could transfer the Project to a faster IDE-Disk, but how can I do?
thx for any help

Just copy/move the Boinc-folder to the new place and install Boinc over it.

I did, and it works fine so far. I'll finally see, when the next WUs finish without error.
I also cleaned the PC with compressed air and mounted a better cpu-cooler with a silver plate. Temperature is more than 10° C lower now.

Unrecoverable error for result '(result)' (The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2) - exit code 2 (0x2))
From BOINCWiki
[edit]General
Message Type: Error Message
This Message indicates that the files for the Result data, the Result Data File(s), cannot be located, is corrupt, or that there is some other error with the file system that prevents the BOINC Daemon or the [{Science Application]] from accessing the file.
If this happens regularly you may want to have your computer tested. If it is a computer running Microsoft Windows®, you can use the "check disk" program to test for, and fix, errors.
Note, you may have to reboot the computer to get the repair process started. This is because the Operating System "owns" the disk drive and it cannot be pried out of its "grubby" mitts.
If that clears up the problem, you may be good to go. If the problem occurs regularly and the "check disk" program if repairing each time it is run, well, you need to budget for a new disk drive. Or better still, a new and faster computer!

RE: Unrecoverable error for

I've already read this before, but my drives, most of them SCSI are for shure all right. Anyway I've checked the drive, BOINC was installed on, to leave no doubt.
In my opinion the error-message
doesn't point to a disk problem. Some days ago, when the problems started, I'd already disabled the write-cachè for that drive and the next WU worked out fine, so I thought that had been the problem. But the error showed up again.
