The same thing is happening here in the western and southern suburbs of Chicago. Lake Michigan will hold temps in the city several degrees F cooler.

So, Adelaide is currently living 65 years behind the Times (more likely the Guardian - private joke) in 1951. Well at that time we had Chris Barbers Jazz band, with an unknown banjo player named Lonnie Donegan, one of my heroes. His first skiffle hit was Rock Island Line in 1955.
Buys loads of old skiffle records and hot foots it to Adelaide to make my fortune.
