I'm confused by this validation state. Why doesn't it get replaced by "valid" or "invalid" once a Quorum has been reached?

Hm, the validate state is

Hm, the validate state is actually "validate error", meaning that the validator was unable to check whether the Result is valid or not - for whatever reason. The "Checked, but no consensus yet" is probably a misleading error message. Thanks for pointing us to it, we'll check the validator.

It's still in work,

It's still in work, obviously.

I've got 2 now in my results page:

47773891 and 46744572

As they happened just now, I'd like to know whether somethings wrong with my machine, but the textsw in the results don't say anything about it:

CPU time	27132.053298
stderr out

5.4.9

Validate state Checked, but no consensus yet Claimed credit 112.296643518518 Granted credit 0 application version 4.17

Until a 3rd unit is completed

Until a 3rd unit is completed to compare with, the system has no way of telling if it's your result or the other persons that's bad. At this point both of your results are marked as validate error, which means it's almost certainly something with your computer.

But this is the only project where it happens, so I think it's something with Einstein.
No Problems with Malaria, Docking, Rosetta, CPDN and Simap in this regard.

I've got another one:

It finished perfect but didn't manage to upload proper because of some strange "invalid signature" error, what the heck is that?

Edit:
I just saw, I got the same messages from Docking and Malaria, but there the results ULed nevertheless successful. WCG behaved just like Einstein. Can anyone explain this to me? I'm totally lost.

What is this signature?
Where is it generated?
How can it get corrupted?
Is it part of BOINC or part of the application?

It looks like a communication error, or perhaps corrupt data in one of BOINC’s XML files. See the BOINC Wiki article on the error message.

It sounds like something that would be in one of BOINC’s project-specific “sched_*.xml files, but it’s strange you’re getting the error from more than one project. Unfortunately the “Signature hypertext in the Wiki links to a page about message-board stats signatures—less than helpful, considering the context—so if there’s a description in there somewhere it’s being masked by the other article.

Maybe the scheduler logs from the session in question would provide a clue.
