My Panda Free Antivirus (version 15.1.0) just claimed to have detected a Virus "W32/Exploit.gen" in 2 of the γ-ray pulsar search #4.1.15 Tasks and subsequently quarantined it. (1)
Both were either about to finish or finished - I didn't look at BOINC Manager, but they must've been at >90%.
Work Unit IDs: 229083710 and 229079880
The Host ID this was done on is 12062552.
Version 4.1.14 works fine btw and one instant of it just finished while I typed this up. (wuid 229003624)

Panda Antivirus detecting "W32/Exploit.gen"

Obviously the tasks didn't even start, because the antivirus moved the binary as soon as it finished downloading.
I swear, I'm not drunk (>_<)
Gamma-ray pulsar search #4
)
Gamma-ray pulsar search #4 version 1.15 is a new application deployed on 25 September (applications), and just now being discussed in Cruncher's Corner.
It is common, though regrettable, that anti-virus programs quarantine novel applications under 'heuristic' rules, before (or instead of) performing a full analysis. It would be helpful if you could submit the file to Panda as a "probable false positive", to speed up the analysis and allow it to be downloaded by other users.
