The same app is used for both BRP6 and BRP4G it's only the data and the instructions on how to analyze it that differs between the searches. For those who has opted in on beta apps BRP4G will now use the updated and more optimized version just as BRP6 does.

Thanks for the update. Missed the news in the BRP6 thread. Was just the beta designation that through me and that I had been running the 1.39 BRP4G app forever.
Found some interesting comments in the Technical News section regarding this beta 1.52 app for the Arecibo GPU tasks. Looks like about a 1000-2000 second improvement in runtimes vs the old 1.39 app. So looking good for the beta in my opinion.
