Thanks @robi thought i'd try it.

After running for nearly 18 hours...ubuntu 14.04.1

BRP5 tasks at x3 are averaging

6770s (driver version 15.5)
vs
6672s (driver version 14.9)

so may be a little slower, but I liked the fact they are distributed on a .deb (four files for ubuntu) - plus .rpm (RHEL) and .run (others).

Much more stable than than 14.12 - for me anyway.

They haven't fixed the missing libOpenCL.so library, so boinc-client still needs help to find OpenCL.

AMDOverdriveCtrl - My favourite "AND" software, works fine.

I'll probably stay with it.
