The first entry for Einstein@home says deadline 06-09-2010. Surely not?

Where do you see that?
Starting from the link of your Einstein user name, what I can see from here is one task which you downloaded 7 May 2015 15:08:28 UTC, returned 10 May 2015 9:52:15 UTC, and which had a deadline of 21 May 2015 15:08:28 UTC, and a second task which you downloaded 10 May 2015 8:41:07 UTC, is still reported as in progress on your machine, and has a deadline of 24 May 2015 8:41:07 UTC.
On the advanced view, tasks, Einstein@home, 100%, uploading...., elapsed 065137, deadline 06092010, 0918, global correlations.. etc.
Maybe this is old stuff that I did yet is shown as 'uploading'. The other E@H is shown as running. Perhaps there is no problem, but I am a little confused about the first message.

Sounds right--probably stranded work from a previous time you were running Einstein.
For another clue for us (as this does not show in the web page list of your current and recent jobs visible to us), what do the Columns in Boincmgr tasks list titled "Application" and "Name" show for this unit?
For example, for current Gamma Ray Pulsar work on my laptop, the application column reads: Gamma-ray pulsar search #4 1.05 (FGRP4-SSE2)
and the name column reads: LATeah1052E_80.0_2150_-2.87e-10_1
As the applications on offer change from time to time, if your entry of interest really dates from 2010 it won't have any of the current application names.
Here is the web page where Einstein lists current applications. The naming differs from what one sees in boincmgr, but you can decided if you think there is a match.
Deadline error?

So you must be looking somewhere else. Where?

This must be an ancient workunit from a run we did around the time you joined the project, half a decade ago. Feel free to abort it.
Cheers
