For now we limited the OSX

For now we limited the OSX OpenCL ATI app versions (i.e. plan classes) for BRP4G and BRP6 to below Yosemite. Beta app versions are available for both apps for testing, so if you want to try you may enable Beta test App versions in your E@H preferences - at your own risk.

Realistically, how much risk is there? Is there a substantial risk to hardware? Or is this more along the lines of CYA?

I'm sure he meant, "at your own risk of wasting your computer's time", rather than of any physical damage type risk to the hardware.

Cheers,

Ok, I could now finally

Ok, I could now finally reproduce the almost immediate crash on 10.10.3 (installed from scratch) as well as on 10.10.4 beta. This should help us a lot getting down to the root cause of the issue...
