Yes what we have here these days is politicians offer voters free stuff for doing nothing more than giving them their vote and so they get millions of votes that way and usually a guaranteed win.
In my State they add that all the company owners do not deserve the money their company makes and they should be forced to split it evenly with their employees.
$15 an hour plus full coverage for the high-tech jobs at McDonalds making burgers or just taking your order.
We get to see them getting talked into protesting in the parking lot if they don't get what they are told they deserve.
Funny watching Hillary faking like she is one of them and conning her way into that job her husband used to have.....maybe Boinc can borrow her private server.
Sadly many overseas ( assuming that matters ) see the USA as well into a prolonged "tanking it" phase in the economic sense. Rather like Australia's position they'll probably not bother with any serious involvement for at least another five to ten. No one outside a given country really wants to rely on it's internal political details, so there is somewhat of a loss of trust happening. Whether it be investment or trade or lending, having a sovereign or legislative risk applying is a huge turnoff to any contract based activities. I know this sounds a wee bit rude but the phrases "backed by the US government" or "backed by the US dollar" are rather more likely to invoke a chuckle rather than the serious response it used to some decades ago. 2008 was a huge watershed in this regard and there is little evidence of any useful extant strategy/structure to avert recurrence. I know for a fact that very many Aussie based superannuation funds now routinely avoid US entanglements as a policy position. Of course there is risk everywhere but the US is noted as having barely bothered with the deeper issues that Bear-Stearns etc disclosed. This is not casual US bashing .... it is seriously hard to define any clear direction of travel happening here. But I could merely be an uninformed silly outsider ! :-)

Now as far as Billary Clinton or Bernie Sanders .....well these clowns would bother me if I was a youngster but I retired many years ago so they can't take any income taxes from me and I get the discount on property taxes here so it is closer to what it should be......and I never vote for those phony clowns but then you know I live in WA State and can tell my votes are always a waste of time (so I mail them in) and none of my local clowns got a vote from me and the same goes for the new "laws" we have here.
I make sure I always vote but "Pluto" gets a LOT of my votes as I don't like alot of the candidates either. In fact most of them were voted OUT in the last election!! Pluto is alot easier then Mickey Mouse using the onscreen keyboards they have for me to use.

I voted for Bush Sr, is why I wrote the letter saying he was a hypocrite for going against what he promised as a candidate.

My Desert Eagle is the chrome and gold version with a rare hardwood Desert Eagle grip.
I rarely fire it these days since a box of .50 caliber hollow points are a bit expensive but it is clean and ready next to my bed.

That seems like it might work, as long as you DO pull the trigger before it's too late. Statistics say most people get killed with their own guns because they think thieves and burglars will listen to reason and will back away when they see a gun. They don't listen to reason and often take the gun away and then the homeowner is in BIG trouble.

My buddy had the same problem, he and his wife made GOOD money, in the mid 6 figures combined salary, he ended up working with the state of Virginia, where I live and he used to live, funding a pull over viewing area along the Blue Ridge Parkway. There will be a plaque with his and his wifes name saying something like 'this scenic viewing area is maintained by X and Y'. It was either that or pay for a race horse, they LOVED betting on the ponies, a scenic pull over spot was chosen because they LOVED pulling over and just looking as they drove to and from the race tracks.
Some bird or pet sanctuary would LOVE your money too, when you no longer need it. You could even do a hummingbird 'exhibit' for a very long time into the future with a nice plaque saying it came about because of you.
So the latest version of the Trainz simulatorfeatures my home town Healesville as of ~ 1920 which I reckon is cool ! So I'm gonna buy the Collectors Edition and go for a spin.
In reality the right-of-way is still there and is being restored as we speak. The track, engines, the rolling stock, the tunnel, buildings, bridges are all under renewal. Style-wise I think they're going for the immediate post WWII look :
