I reckon Disobedience would be a far more common child name in these modern times, given the little **darlings** ( ahem ) that I see everyday. But then again the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
I don't know why you have shot off on a comet David. It'll take you 75 years to get back to us, short of a rescue mission.
But 17 has that sort of effect on me too. It's a prime number so definitely suspect straight off. It's one of the sneaky primes that you don't normally think of and so is really good at ambushes. For instance : you are sitting with your bank manager discussing your debt ( why else would you be sitting there ? ) and he pipes up and says 'that is due in 17 days'. Slap ! Wham ! Not 14 or 21 but 17. Neither one week nor the next. 17 right out of the blue when you least expect it. My advice ? Preempt. So when you next see your bank manager then get in first with 'Hello Mr Seventeen, it is so good to see you !' I guarantee that you will get a different outcome.

Well yes... at least when they're still at the sticky stage there's a chance they'll get captured by a wall or some strategically spilled orange juice on the floor - but as phases go, that one is way too short *sigh* but the Obedience thing got me most confused... and it may just be the tip of the iceberg. I think I may have identified a flaw with the internet people... it appears to contain information from more than one reality... combining them I ended up with the name originating in AmericaBritain and being Hebrew.

At Melbourne the students were described in polite company as a pack of feral animals. The local police, backed by the local publicans here, called them a pack of criminals as yet un-apprehended. They were lectured, and I use that term in the loosest of senses, in the Redmond Barry building. Mr R.Barry was the judge who sentenced Ned Kelly and was told by Mr.N Kelly "I'll see you in hell". Mr N.Kelly's other natty but apocryphal line was 'such is life' just before they pulled the trapdoor lever. Anyway I mention this to emphasise that in Melbourne, Australia at least the engineering profession has a solid social base of the best sort. Typically an engineering lecturer ( ditto loose terminology ) would have to suffer carefully timed explosions from fireworks placed on the top of paper planes gliding on pre-calculated trajectories from the upper reaches of the lecture theatre. Sadly this was not viewed by the faculty as a good use of the student's time .... clearly downplaying, dare I say suppressing, the inventive skill of the younger generations. Sigh ... they are into mere cyber crimes now. :-)
