You are letting Boinc use your cpu for crunching, the Intel GPU is inside the cpu, while it is crunching it will use all or almost all of your cpu to do that, when you want to do something else it has to stop crunching and respond to your request, it can't do that INSTANTLY, it must do it in an orderly fashion, it IS a computer remember. All of this takes time and after it does what you wanted it to do it goes back to crunching, not having a clue that you may want to do something else. So when you then click to do something else, 'you mean you DIDN'T just want to open your browser and look at the home page?' Boinc must again stop crunching and do what you ask, and then take control right back again.

There ARE some settings you can adjust to make this less intrusive, but they will also slow down your crunching times and the number of workunits you can crunch, as you would then have more control of the cpu, and not Boinc.

What version of the graphics

What version of the graphics driver for the Intel HD4400 is installed?
Did you download it directly from Intel or was it installed via Windows update?
And when you say that your computer freeze do you mean completely so that you need to reboot or does it start responding after a while?

If you don't want to try and resolve the problems running BRP4 tasks on your HD4400 GPU then instead of aborting all of them go to your Einstein@home prefs and opt out of "Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo)" and you'll stop receiving them.

Or Deselect 'Use Intel GPU' and Boinc will stop asking for work for the Intel GPU.
