In case I haven't made it clear, this is the streetcar I run. The one where you can only reach the second air tank drain valve with your hand by lying down on your side in the dirt and gravel and rolling under the car. At one point last Saturday, there was a Go Pro on the track in front of me.
I was a bit shocked to hear that one of my fellow trainees died last week. He certainly didn't seem to be 71 years old. Really nice guy.
Feeling rather warm right now. It's only 73F at my desk... 60 outside, a mile away.

The northern version of A Streetcar Named Desire?
More or less. New Orleans still has them, though, and has even expanded their system in the last couple of decades. Their new cars are built to look like the old ones they still use on the St. Charles line.

It is lunch time and I am hungry so will keep this short...I put together my new pc parts yesterday, an AMD 6 core cpu, new mb and 8gb of ram. Today I added an Nvidia 760 gpu I had sitting unused, it is now crunching 2 units at a time for Einstein. Tomorrow I will add 3 more Nvidia 760's to the mix as I will hit my goal at another project. I LOVE gpu's!!!

It is now morning and I have reached my goal at the other project! I have already moved 2 of the gpu's over to Einstein and will do the other one later this morning. The new machine is already helping here too with 5 valid units and 5 units pending.
I forgot to ask...have you gotten the phone calls from someone pretending to be from Microsoft yet? I string them along for about 10 minutes, telling them to wait for the pc to boot up, then when they tell me what keys to press I tell them they don't work. After a few more minutes I tell them ALL my machines are Linux based, they aren't really, and they get REALLY mad and hang up.
