Hi All,
The CUDA 6.5 release for mac is 64-bit ONLY (no more fat binary). An upcoming BOINC client will be 64-bit in order to continue detecting CUDA support (I've tested the detection, and it works), however we will very soon need the science apps compiled in 64-bit.
I'm going to fiddle around a bit in my spare time and try and figure out Anonymous platform and build by own. Hopefully i won't kill too many WUs in the process.

Regards, Andrew

OS X an CUDA 6.5

Confirmed, as installing nVidia's CUDA 6.5.14 available for download, running the latest Mac OS X BOINC client gives me a "GPU not found" error, and in Event Log no CUDA driver shows up.

There may be other reasons there isn't a 64-bit client, but as the entire OS X platform moves toward 64-bit only, there should be adjustments made to the BOINC Mac app as well.

Get 7.4.19 which will detect

Get 7.4.19 which will detect CUDA with the CUDA 6.5 drivers installed: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_7.4.19_macOSX_i686.zip

BOINC 7.4.19 recognizes CUDA

BOINC 7.4.19 recognizes CUDA 6.5.14, but I only get computation errors on all BRP jobs.

Switched back to CUDA 6.0.54

Switched back to CUDA 6.0.54 and BOINC 7.2.42, luckily didn't involve wiping and reinstalling Mavericks.

Both rolled back using regular installers; did have to reboot and wait a day for servers to reset because of the computation errors.

Einstein@home now working as it did before, with 2 jobs running on nVidia 660 GTX and 660 Ti.
