Unrecoverable error for result H1_0097.4__0097.5_0.1_T00_Test02_

The error message indicates that this is the 'BOINC no heartbeat from core client' bug that we are trying to track down and fix.

Could it have something to do

Could it have something to do with the network-problem ? The timeline of the problem is very very nearby.

The box is working with WLAN; before I went to bed, networking with the box was okay; when I came back in the morning, networking was okay. I don't know, wheather there was a problem with WLAN in the night, when I slept. Or wheather it was an "external" problem with Internet or at Predictor ...

I had something similar -- at this point it was alternating time with a Climate workunit:

Hi, Corgi.
I just had one of them, my first AFAIK, on an einstein-only machine. Mine occurred when being changed back to 'run always' after being suspended for a defrag.

Cheers,

I'm glad to say that I'm on my 3rd (I think) w/u now and have not had a recurrance of the error so far.

(I'm also not seeing any completed-credit yet, but... [shrug].)

I also had an error code -1 a

I also had an error code -1 a couple of days ago. I'm not sure if it is very interesting for you because it happened when Boinc behaved strange during a CPU benchmark and the problem is probably not in the Einstein application. But just to be sure, this is what happenend:

I did a manual benchmark, directly after (during?) the benchmark I get a Windows error message: "Boincmrg has caused an error in BOINCMRG.EXE. Boincmrg will close now. If you continue to experiënce problems, try restarting your computer.".

After Boincmanager has closed the Einstein application is still running. After restarting Boincmanager the message tab is updated with the old messages generated before the crash, including the results of the CPU
benchmark that was causing the crash.
I rebooted my PC and tried again, with the same result. However, this time the Einstein application was stuck. I could not log off Windows because it was not possible to end the Einstein application (not even in the Windows
task manager) and had to use the reset key of the computer. When the PC and Boinc started again the Einstein WU had aborted.

Link to the aborted WU: http://einsteinathome.org/task/992106
PC: PIII 1GHz - WinME, Boinc CC 4.60.
