Thanks guys. It will be nice to have him back. Mike, I will pass that along.
On another note about wearing parachutes. I wore a parachute for years. Hence my current spine issues, lmao.
However, it should be known that I wore that chute for very valid reasons, which do NOT include using my face to test the hardness of the granite in a cliff face or other such useless endeavors. The purpose of said parachute in my case is to get you to the ground just slow enough to not break anything. It didn't work twice in that manner for me.
Here's the old paratrooper lament:
A proper PLF (parachute landing fall) is executed several ways but always using the same 5 points of contact.
1. Balls of your feet.
2. Calf muscle.
3. Thigh muscle.
4. Your butt.
5. Your lats.
An improper PLF is executed a myriad of ways using the following points of contact.
1. Feet A$$ Head Feet A$$ Head Feet A$$ Head, and so on till your body runs out of inertial energy or you hit a large stationary object similar in mass to above mentioned cliff face.
2. Call Corpsman in loud voice...
#1 Get into plane
#2 Wait ( for Pilot Stuff )
#3 Jump out of plane
#4 Wait ( for Newtonian Stuff )
#5 Pull chute
#6 Wait ( for more Newton )
#7 Do Rubik's Cube Stuff with own body
#8 Wait ( for Corpsman Stuff )
#9 Stand up shorter than you were in #1
... and so satisfy the basic military operational requirements of waiting for something to happen, half of the time. :-)
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
The trouble with being really rich is that everyone wants a piece of you. How do you then make real friends who know & care for you, that come around and stop you doing bad stuff when it matters. Because we all screw up sometime.
As Uma Thurman once said "It is hard to find new old friends", meaning friends like you had before you got famous. She was referring to Quentin Tarantino.

Yeah, and that sucks big time. He was a favorite of mine. Lots of laughs he gave to the world.
Phil
"nanu nanu" and the movie Patch Adams were two of my favorite things from him, but he did MANY others too!! I guess his struggles in his private life just showed how hard he pushed to make all of us laugh. A Doctor, who was treating him in the past at a clinic, yesterday said he had a 'chemical imbalance' and that he wouldn't stop drinking, which would lead to more 'chemical imbalance'. I have no idea what that means, it could mean he was an alcoholic for all I know, but he sure did make great comedy!!! They said he was one of the first to make Johnny Carson laugh so hard he thought he was going to split wide open, this while they were on the air!!

His "Chemical Imbalance" is a polite way of saying he had Bi-Polar disorder. Why Hollywood hides this fact in its actors and actresses is beyond me. Bi-Polar needs to be seriously talked about and treated.
