I am running Einstein and Seti on two PCs. My laptop can't seem to cope with the Einstein WUs. Is there a way to stop running Einstein on the laptop (and continue running Seti), without impacting what the other PC is working on?

Removing Einstein from a pc

If you open BOINC Manager (Advanced view) on the machine in question, you will find controls to do all sorts of things like setting "No new tasks" (NNT), aborting tasks (if you don't want to wait for them to complete) and "updating" a project to report completed or aborted tasks. When you have dealt with the tasks by whatever method you choose (abort them or allow them to complete), you can go to the "Projects" tab, select the EAH project and click "Detach" (it's called "Remove" in current BOINC versions) to get rid of the EAH project from that computer.

Cheers,
Gary.
