There isn't one on the application page, but is there someone out there who's made one that I could use? I have a machine with tons of idle cycles that I'd like to contribute.

The same for me. I'm also interested in a Solaris Client. The BOINC framework is available for Solaris only the Einstein@home core is missing.

We had two people working on

We had two people working on a Solaris port, but they stopped their work without having finished it (for personal and quite understanble reasons). It's not that easy, and the core E@H developers team currenty have all their hands full with the three already supported platforms (when they are not kept busy by hardware failures etc). I will also have another try on Solaris myself when I have a hand free, but I don't want to make any promises yet.

The Astronomical Soceity of

The Astronomical Soceity of Denmark has a four-CPU Sun Sparc machine with lots of idle CPU cycles to be used for the Einstein@home project. We do not need any screensaver or other graphical stuff, so just the bare calculation engine for Solaris would be pefectly OK for us. Our machine works perfectly with the seti@home project, so the boinc framework is functioning.

Is it posible for E@H, to get the sources out to the boinc_dev peoples, to port it to solaris and some other platforms ?

Regards
