I've just managed to have a decent read of this and I'm very impressed. It's a cool summary of what we do and how we do it, here at E@H. The 'case study' of our first pulsar discovery reads like a detective story. Engrossing. It really places E@H firmly in the context of the entire pipeline of data processing from antenna feed to publication. One could liken us to a metal detector on a sandy beach. You do a blind but clever & hopeful search, upon triggering you dig. I recommend this as the standard reference for anyone who asks what we're about.

I note we may be taking data from Effelsberg and others in the future. Eventually maybe the SKA! Plus of course we take over world via every Android-ish device on the planet. :-)

In short, we believe that the approach described here is not a fad, and will provide a substantial computing resource for astronomy in the long term.

Hear, hear!

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
