Today I attached a new machine with an ATI HD 7570. I have set the preferences to allow GPU work and I get nothing there. The CPU seems to be working fine. Any ideas on what I have to do to get the GPU to get work.

If the new machine is host

If the new machine is host #6654821 with Win 8 the scheduler logs for the last contact says: [pre]"2013-02-19 03:12:49.7608 [PID=32301] [version] ATI device (or driver) doesn't support OpenCL"[/pre]
So try to update your graphics driver.

It would also be helpful to do as Nobody316 says and post the startup log from the Event log in Boinc, at least up to the detection of the GPU.

Well it is now sort of

Well it is now sort of running BRPS on the GPU . The problem is GPU-Z shows little to no GPU utilization. When I exit Boinc manager and the restart GPU=Z shows expected GPU usage then after a few seconds it drops to zero and stays there. It does load the GPU memory and stays loaded over the course of processing. Since this is a Win8 machine I have no idea what is happening. The tasks are taking about 10 hours to complete which is not the way is should be.

Freeing a core solved the

Freeing a core solved the problem. GPU usage is now over 95% and run times are under 2 hours.

Making a gpu run optimally is often a trail and error thing as what works for me may not work at all for you. I am GLAD you got it working, and it IS fast!!
