One corps went through near Canes Venatici and after went to Ursa Major, at 9:27-9:32 (Spanish Hour UTC+01:00)... But We could saw it around the top star of Canes Venatici ...I think...
But with my telescope, could have been better experience, because we used two binoculars.
And do you saw the 2012 DA14 asteroid? And how? where?
It´s very interesting meet the procedence of these corps... Where they come?? What happened??

Unfortunately it was very cloudy in here in Berlin/Germany and I could not see it. Otherwise, I would have tried to see it with my telescope (Newtonian, 200mm mirror). I am not sure though, whether it would have been possible to see it at all, since I am living near the city centre.

It should have been quite visible here (South England) in a small telescope. We had the path plotted and a 90mm refractor ready, but there was too much cloud.
The whole winter 2012/2013

The whole winter 2012/2013 was depressing for amateur astronomers in Germany, weather-wise. It has been the least - sunny winter in quite a few decades, with only about 100 hrs of sunshine on average across Germany since beginning of Dec 2012. I'm sure a night-time statistic on cloud cover would be equally exceptional. Very few people here had a chance to see this event.

Actually what the subject was on that FNC morning program was that solar panel industry here has not worked and ended up going out of business several times after using millions of dollars of tax payers money to start those businesses.
So it would have been better to make those millions into $1 bills and light them on fire.
I live in an area in the NW that rains most of the time but it would be nice to have efficient solar panels on my roof facing SE that didn't cost as much as the house itself and actually do more than power my refrigerator and microwave.
And now here for the first time in over 90 years we are having our power company replaced by another one that has less experience and will most likely cost more......It starts in April and I know I won;t be very happy when they send the first bill.
We have had hydroelectric power for the last century here.....maybe they found out I have 6 pc's and a couple bigscreen tv's and 3 satellite dishes here.
