Also, PorkyPies, I see your CPUs show up as ARM ARMv7 Processor rev 4 (v7l)(4 processors) where mine just say ARM. Curious. Maybe I need to update my one lone Pi 3 tonight.

The later BOINC client provides a bit more cpu info than just ARM so you could just update BOINC-client.

The last couple of updates I have done to Stretch have bricked it so if your going to make sure you backup your sd card first. More precisely it loses eth0 after rebooting. I still need to work out why.

And yes we need more members. If no one else has I may post something on the RPi forums.

Cheers!

I think we may have reached that point where we can mention it to the Pi foundation and see if the want to run a story about us. I have run Asteroids (a long time ago), Seti more recently and of course Einstein on them.

The Asteroids app was for the original B so doesn't take advantage of the ARM v7 instructions. They also quadrupled the size of their work units since they did the app. They can barely finish a task by deadline. They need Bikeman's magic touch :-)

I might get time this weekend

I might get time this weekend to do my video of how to setup S@H on Pi and build my Pi 3 cluster. That could help too!

I think that would be really great to have. Maybe the video could also mention E@H ? ;-)

P.S.: My new Pi Zero w/ camera interface arrived today...yeah!!!

Cheers

Did you see the video from

Did you see the video from EEVBlog comparing the Orange Pi One and Raspberry Pi 2 ? It's pretty exciting for building a cluster:

Thanks for the link. :-)

I am amazed at everything that has happened since Raspberry Pi first came about. All this cheap computing, addons and projects. So many cool things being done. Amazing.

I cannot find a Pi Zero, except in rather expensive kits, anywhere. :-(

More of that thing they call patience.....

Cheers!

Poppageek - where do you live

Poppageek - where do you live (wrt Pi Zero).

We surpassed 1,000,000 credits sometime in the last day!

My family is out of town, so I will have time to assemble and film the assembly of my Pi 3 Cluster tonight/tomorrow morning!
