That's what I needed to

That's what I needed to know...didn't realize they had it in their Project Preferences.

Thanks, Claggy! :)

Go to your preferences and

Go to your preferences and set 'GPU utilisation factor' to 0.5, 0.33 or so.
The next downloaded wu's have correct settings, wu's already downloaded have previous setting.

Look but its says:

GPU utilization factor of BRP apps
DANGEROUS! Only touch this if you are absolutely sure of what you are doing!
Wrong setting might even damage your computer! Use solely on your own risk!
Min: 0.0 / Max: 1.0 / Default: 1.0

Don´t whant to make something wrong, is the same as ? put 0.5 for 2 instances? And is Ok to use in Nvidia GPUS?

You allways helping people. thanks. :)

Yes, same as changing the value on an app_info, but here you're doing it with the Stock apps, and the Stock apps still get updated when new apps come out,

How about settings for

How about settings for multiple machines/multiple GPU's? Crunching SETI I have 400 series GPU's running two wu's, 500 and 600 series running 3 wu's. For my hardware, these are the most efficient settings per Fred's GPU tester. SETI has an app_info to set each individual computer, Einstein has a global preference setting. Is there an existing app_info file (that has Einstein settings) I can use to individually set Einstein wu's (>count<) PER MACHINE?
Thanks

You could put diferent WU/time on each unique preference, i do this way, 1 WU - defoult, 2-school, 3-work... and set each hosts individualy.

Just rememeber E@H uses more CPU than SETI on the GPU taks.
