Bernd did a recmpile with a newer compiler, we are not yet sure what exactly the new compiler is doing better than the old one.

I did some math on my root

I did some math on my root server(game server):

old app 1.16 SSE2(15 results): 40544,04 / 32084,102
new app 1.17 SSE2(48 results): 37994,95 / 29223,39

Old app 1.16 on my 6-core AMD(13 results):26999,99 / 24716,78
New app 1.17 on my 6-core AMD(13 results):24501,19 / 22550,48

Isn't this impressive?

On my local machine I don't have that many results so far.

My local host(I had to reduce

My local host(I had to reduce the speed to 4.1GHz cause of waste thermal paste and heating problems. I need the clean the fans with my compressor.

Old 1.16 app(4.2GHz): 14836,01 / 14778,08
New 1.17 app(4.1GHz): 12875,87 / 12722,85

No Win values, cause there I play "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" sometimes. This draws the values down!
