Topic 196393

I installed the driver 301.42 on my i7 2600K and no BRP4Cuda32 is crunched. And my boincmgr-link is not working. For sure I have setup to control for all users.
Under the the C:\Program Files there is no BOINC dir.
I have to install the boinc 6.10.60 over and over again. The repair option is not working. In the C:ProgramData I have no rights, only as Administrator.
Several Gamma-ray pusar seach files are almost ready and T4T is at 24%.
I don't want lose that work.

The boinc 6.10.58 link is defect:
boinc_6.10.58_windows_x86_64.exe 01-Jul-2010 11:55 320K

Shall I downgrade to the last working driver, or what?

Any help is most welcome!

Help needed

I had never use GPU enabled, my fault.

The 301.42 driver is working now.

But this doesn't my my other problems!
I have managed to get access to 'c:\Users\All Users\BOINC' where the data files are stored.
But where is the boincmgr? I did't find it anywhere!
After a crash yesterday I updated my system from a backup.
Shall I move back the BOINC dir as a last chance.

What does this mean:
'This file is used as a placeholder until real data files are created or copied from another location.'
It's located in the projects dir.

Kind regards
Michael

If you chose to install BOINC

If you chose to install BOINC to a different directory than the standard directory, I'm not talking about the data directory, it should be in that non-standard folder.
When updating it should install to the directory you initially setup on the first install.

How can I add myself to the boinc_users group. It is impossible on my Win 7 Home Premium!

[edit]The link is still defect:
boinc_6.10.58_windows_x86_64.exe / 01-Jul-2010 11:55 / 320K

Can't someone care about it! For me its the last version that is working without adding myself to the boinc_users group!

I don't know which link on which page you are referring to.

FWIW, here is a local copy of boinc_6.10.58_windows_x86_64.exe on our mirror in Germany.
