I am interested in setting up a cluster if anybody has information on setup/software I would appreciate it.

I have been doing research into this but because of the amount of erroneous information available on the net I thought I would try here as well.

Cluster

The Einstein apps are single threaded and running the servers separately will likely be more cost effective. However, there is a virtualization application called ScaleMP that can aggregate multiple x86 systems together into one large virtual SMP system using Infiniband as the fabric.

How large of a cluster are you planning? And which platform, maybe Linux? It would be useful to know a little more about your goals.

Cheers, Mike.

Probably a Parallel Virtual

Probably a Parallel Virtual Machine. Once I built one of 2 systems, a Bull.MIPS R6000 and a SUN WS using a software by the University of Tennessee.
