Since those cuda cards crunch one of those tasks below 10 minutes, it is not energy efficent to let this job be done by a normal cpu anymore. I got one of those and my computer did it in three or four days!

Some people want to help and do not have a GPU compatible to crunch, so why not let those people have them?

You think a Pentium 4 is overall energy efficient then? Don't get me wrong, I ran one for years with BOINC on it, but ever since upgrading to an i3-540 first and now an i5-2500K, I found it does pay to be investing in newer tech. With them P4s I had an extra electricity bill, needed to pay a €1,500 extra per year. With the i3 I managed to get €700 back last year! And for this year it's already looking towards €300 back.
But what of people who don't have a GPU, or don't use the one they've got in their system, but do want to run BRP4? Just because you feel that a CUDA card does everything way better --and it's only the high-end CUDA cards that run work in mere minutes, several lower end will take several hours still-- doesn't mean the project needs to stop giving work to CPUs.
And even if you don't have money to upgrade to a better CPU, you can still upgrade to a (better) GPU. The CUDA capable GPUs are even available in PCI (thus not AGP or PCI-e) versions. You just have to shop around a little better. Like this ZOTAC GeForce GT 520 PCI. Or an earlier ZOTAC GeForce GT 430.
Yes, these do CUDA and yes they'll run circles around your P4.

I have updated my Einstein settings. No BRP for me, since i have no gpu, yet.
