Yeah we are not far away from our 10th year here now and I know what you mean because I was just running CPU's for the first 7 years here
and after talking to a certain member here who had several GFPU cards I decided to start installing new ones and PSU's in all of mine since I can't just stop with one or two here
So most of my 102 million happened the last couple years here after getting my first two GeForce 550Ti OC cards.
Of course now I am tempted to get ones even better than my 660Ti SC......when I get a sale price like I did with the others.

Your 550Ti gpu is doing units like this:
27,539.44 7,600.70 40.66 3,333.00
Your 650T1 is doing units like this:
30,888.77 6,451.89 44.74 3,333.00
While my 760 gpu is doing the same units like this:
11,781.76 3,901.35 24.18 3,333.00
I still can't believe people are crunching on their Android Phones ....

Is one of your GPUs a 290 290x ? Are they any good ?
Looks like most of yours are 7970 class.
I'm still running my "antique" 5870 )
Bill
Hello Bill,
I do have a single 290X running. I mainly run the card with FGRP Search currently which it performs well with.
With the other three Einstein projects, the 7970 is the better performer of the two cards although I am not sure why that is. For GW Search, the 290X can keep up with the 7970 running one task but with two tasks (0.5 factor), the 7970 pulls ahead.

I never have heat problems with mine (EVGA single fans)
I just updated these 6 hosts with new X4 850watt PSU's and the EVGA's
They run at different speeds because the two 550Ti's are running with different types of CPU's so the times are not the same and with both of them I run tasks X3 (one is a quad-core and one is a3-core)
The two 650Ti's run on very different boards and the times are quite different and the both run tasks X3 and both are with quad-cores
The 660Ti SC is running with a quad-core and is the only one running tasks X4
How many tasks do you run on your 760's at once? (BRP PAS)

Mine also run the T4T w/VB at the same time.
I too run 750 or 850 watt psu's, they just work with no funny pc stoppages due to lack of power. I try to put my more powerful gpu's, ie my 7970's, on the 850 watt psu's and the 760's and less on the 750's, but I am not really sure it makes any difference. I run basic boxes, no cd/dvd, a single hard drive and mostly a single gpu so not too much power usage.
Yeah I too have found that different cpu's etc make a big difference in how fast the gpu runs! I am currently running two tasks at once on my 760's, tried three and while it worked it didn't seem any faster so I went back to two. I always leave one cpu core free just to feed the gpu, but use all the others to run different projects on them.
Rarely do I run the same project on the cpu that I do on the cpu's in the same box. I tend to think of them as different so set different goals for the projects depending on which I am using. For instance a teammate is ahead of me at both PG and MW, I promised him I would not pass him so I am going slowly at those projects. At other projects where I am already ahead, or he is not crunching, I can turn my gpu's and cpu's loose and have fun. I do not NEED to be ahead at every project just because I can, there are lots of projects and I told him I will pass him when I have to. So often I run up on him, then stop just short and crunch for someplace else for a bit.
I still can't believe people are crunching on their Android Phones ....

I did it on both of my Droid tablets just because I could, and it worked just fine after tweaking a few settings. I only ran one unit on each, they took about 20 hours for each one at Collatz. One of my tablets I use regularly, but neither is crunching any more. The one I am not using is a real cheapy, a 40 dollar Walmart special that can't download apps from anyplace except it's own store. I downloaded the Google Play app but it won't install as the tablet says it's not 'one of their apps'. It was worth the 40 bucks, but no more. The other is an 8 inch Samsung Tab 3 and it is GREAT!!
Mornin Mikey,
I have an older (2011 model) kindlefire tablet a friend gave me and,
I use it almost every day. It is far more useful than I thought it
would be ! Best Buy says that tablet sales are now taking a dive over
the last couple of months. Everyone that wanted one has one (or 2 or 3)
tablets by now and, they aren't feeling a big need to upgrade.
Bill
Edit: Unlike us data crunchers who sometimes feel the need to upgrade
our GPUs every couple of months )))
