Okay - I am trying to be helpful to Berkeley. I have
been using Seti@home for three years and now thought
I would help with Einstein@home. The only problem is
that I am very unsure of what I am doing. It appears
to be operating and one project was completed to 100%.
However, will calculations continue if Boinc in in the
try at the bottom right of my monitor? It appears that
for calculation to continue I have to minimize. Is that
true? Will the next project automatically be down-
loaded?
Thanks,

Yes on both counts. :)
Calculation continues when minimized, and new work is downloaded automatically.

Okay - I guess. One item still remains unanswered: do I HAVE to minimize or will
the project continue to run if it is in the tray?
And I appreciate your previous answer.

You can close the manager, and Boinc will still crunch.
You can even set it up as a service, and hide the 'B' in the system tray, but I like it with the manager.
But don't mistake close with exit, exit stops the program, close closes the manager.
BTW:
The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the FAQ therein.
