I'm looking at the server status periodically and it says for PMPS (BRP3) search progress :
Work remaining 42.6 days.
Does it mean we will not have any WUs soon for BRP3 ?
We are working on getting and preparing other data for the binary radio pulsar (BRP) search. There is some new data from Arecibo etc. As far as we can foresee, this new data will last for a few months of "work" on Einstein@Home. It currently looks like we will run out of data for the BRP search later this year.
There are various things we are investigating, I am pretty confident that one or the other will lead to a CUDA and / or OpenCL application.
Next week I'll take another look at the 'resampling FStat' code with the author of that code. If we can get this to work reliably, it will enable us to build a GPU version of the current GW application.
We are also looking to get more radio astronomy data, and investigating other pulsar searches, but it's too early to talk about that in detail.

Does that mean, that there are no longer CUDA tasks on E@H from the end of the year on?

That's enough information for the moment. I'm looking forward to the next steps.
Thank you Bernd

Wow - that would be very cool.
