Ever since S6Bucket tasks became available, I noticed that I am not receiving any BRP3 tasks. My preferences are already set to receive either of these two type of work. There are plenty of BRP3 tasks available to crunch. What is happening?

If you have set your preferences to receive work for both applications, it is pure chance which work you get. All tuning we do affects the ratio between the tasks sent out for BRP and GW work, i.e. for a given client the probability with which to get one or the other. Normally this is set to give about as much computing power to both applications (see the "Computing" table on the server status page). The number of tasks sent out for S6Bucket is somewhat larger (see "Tasks in progress"), because the BRP tasks run longer than the S6Bucket tasks.
Occasionally, however, we tune this ratio a bit. The few weeks before we started S6Bucket we shifted it towards BRP work in order to stretch the remaining S5GC1HF work until S6Bucket was ready. During this time it was more likely to get BRP work.
