BOINC shows disconnected

I was checking on current status of BOINC and projects. Clicked on 'Update Project' and everything in all the BOINC tab screens disappeared and message in bottom rh side of window says 'Disconnected' Have not made any changes to the program or my machines. The only thing I can think of is that I tried to get another program up and running on my other computer (Laptop not networked to this machine) using same account and BOINC doesnt seem to respond on that machine either. I have version 4.25 and just started April 10th

Mark again; I rebooted right after posting this question and somehow my project is back and I am connected normally again... ?????

The message that says disconnected means that boinc manager is not connected to the boinc core client. Things to try when this happens is to restart the manager and if that fails to reboot the computer like you did.

Where does it say disconnected? If it is at the right end of the status bar, please read the other posts here.
